Alex has over 10 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate Appraising, Brokering and Property Management. In his time with the firm, he has earned his Certified General Real Estate Appraiser License in NC, SC and VA, performed over 700 appraisals, been determined as an Expert Witness by NC Courts, and earned the MAI Member Designation by the Appraisal Institute. He has his NC Real Estate Broker License and has performed many land, retail and industrial transactions.
Over the last 5 years Alex has become Manager of the Firm; supervising appraisers and brokers, as well as performing property management duties to a large portfolio of Industrial, Commercial and Agricultural properties.
Alex is also a 2014 graduate of Campbell University’s Lundy-Fetterman Business School with a Bachelors in Business Administration with a minor in Graphic Design.
Thomas, with over 15 years of experience as Controller and Chief Financial Officer of Closely Held Corporations and over 20 years of experience performing over 500 business valuations, has been with the firm since 2000.
Tom has over 50 years experience in Real Estate Appraisals and Business Valuations. He has supervised the development of over 15,000 appraisals of all types amounting to over $3 Billion Dollars in Value. He holds the MAI, CBA, and ASA-BV designations. As of 2025, Tom has stepped down from his roles at the firm.
Sarah is our Office Manager as well as our newest Trainee Appraiser and GIS Analyst. Her role involves managing payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Sarah also holds a NC Real Estate Brokers License and is a Notary Public.
Jim, who joined the firm in 2004, is a North Carolina State Certified General Appraiser. Jim has experience with Condemnation, Golf Course, and Farm Appraisals
Matt, a 2011 graduate of Campbell University, joined the firm in 2013, and is now an NC General Certified Appraiser, "Candidate for Designation" with the Appraisal Institute and NC Real Estate Broker.
Richard graduated from N.C. State University in 1970 and worked in Industrial Management before joining the firm in 2015. In 2023, he became a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser. Richard also holds a NC Real Estate Brokers License.
Brad, a 2022 graduate of University of North Carolina at Pembroke, joined the firm in 2021, and is now an NC General Certified Appraiser, "Associate Member" with the Appraisal Institute and NC Real Estate Broker. Brad is also an Eagle Scout.
Paula has over 20 years experience in Residential Real Estate Appraisals. She operates as a Franchisee of the firm and performs most of the residential assignments.
